Our Projects

Asia Platinum Capital Berhad offers unique opportunities for investors seeking growth in agriculture, sustainability, and renewable energy.

Project 1 - Methane Capture for Carbon Credits

The global community has directed its attention to CO2 as a major Greenhouse Gas responsible for the continued atmosphering warming occurring on our planet within the last few decades. According to the US Environmental Agency, methane gas is 28 times more potent in trapping gas in the atmosphere, and a major source of methane is emitted from agricultural livestock waste.

APC has established Carbon Capital, a carbon solutions company, in Cambodia to aid in combating the largely-uncontained methane emissions from animal waste. For example, there are millions of farm animals in Cambodia that have waste that is spread in the open outdoors, producing environmentally harmful gas every second.

While posing a great challenge to reverse such agricultural practices, we have found an investment opportunity to convert methane emissions reductions into certified Carbon Credits ripe for trading in private carbon markets. Furthermore, we are proud to establish additional sources of revenue for local livestock farmers involved in the project as well as for the relevant national Ministries that can channel these funds back into the Cambodian community.

We are confident that we as APC have the skills and capabilities to link public and private stakeholders to materialise the containment of methane, to reward investors with premium Carbon Credits and to create a better tomorrow for sustainable agriculture practice.

Project 2 - Giant King Grass Biofuel Pellets

Demand for alternative fuel has been on the rise from the industrial community due to the increasing feasibility of biofuel projects. APC offers a clear solution that adopts a highly suitable and sustainable feedstock crop, aimed at caloric efficiency and competitive fuel specifications catered to the buyers who trust us.

Giant King Grass is widely known in the agricultural community as a fast-growing but also robust and sturdy crop bred to withstand flooding and excessive sunlight. This is critical, not only for the rapid replacement of biomass required each time the grass is harvested, but this grass has the necessary moisture and calorific content after processing to be a well sought-after source of alternative fuel.

After harvesting, the grass is dried and passed through various industrial processes such as crushing and pelletising until the final product is made. We take great care in ensuring the specification of the finished pellet product will suit the needs of biofuel offtakers.

APC is poised to take great advantage of this opportunity due to its establishment in the Southeast Asian region. Giant King Grass grown in this climate strongly benefits from the strong sunshine while also being hardy in the face of climate change related flooding and temperature anomalies. Furthermore, our geography allows for relatively close shipping access to likely purchasers of biofuel in anticipation of decarbonisation public policies, such as in South Korea and Japan.
