An Introduction

Investing in the agricultural sector is still perceived as an astute move!

In a world still reeling from the unprecedented turmoil caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, and navigating the challenges of climate change and food security, how and where individuals and institutions invest their money becomes a strategic choice. For many, investing in the agricultural sector is still perceived as an astute move, no matter if the economy is on an expansion or a recessionary trend.

Whether it’s growing food or commodity crops, investors often consider investments in the agriculture sector as recession-proof and far-sighted. The interest in agricultural investments has also grown in tandem with the expansion in world population; with this, issues such as depleting natural resources, sustainability, and food security are now taking centre stage.
